Allah will reign supreme71:7

All is wise and all-knowing.  He is merciful to whom He will: but for the wrongdoers He has prepared a grievous punishment. 95:8

Serve Allah and fear Him, and obey me.  He will forgive you your sins…96:1

Two gardens planted with shady trees.

They shall recline on couches lined with thick brocade, and within their reach will hang the fruits of both gardens.  They shall dwell with bashful virgins whom neither man nor jinnee will have touched before.  Virgins as fair as corals and rubies.

Dark-eyed virgins sheltered in their tents

They shall recline on green cushions and rich carpets

Gardens of Eden gardens watered by running streams

No idle talk, only the voice of peace.

Theirs shall be gardens and vineyards, and high-bosomed maidens for companions p53

Unpolluted waters, p124,  rivers of mink, delectable wine, clearest honey

They shall enter the gardens of Eden , whose gates shall open to receive them.  Reclining there with bashful virgins for companions, they shall feast on abundant fruit and drink.38:45

All shall return to your Lord.  P55

No one in heavens or the earth has knowledge eo what is hidden except Allah.  Nor shall men ever know when they will be raised to life.   P86,143,

We have created man from the union of the two sexes so that We may put him to the proof. 96:1

He created man and taught him articulate speech.

He created man from potter’s clay and the jinn from smokeless fire.

Lord who created man from clots of blood

He is created from an ejected fluid that issues from between the loins and the ribs.

From what did Allah create him? From a little germ He created him and proportioned him. P50

Does man think that he lives in vain?  Was he not a drop of ejected semen?   He became a clot of blood; then Allah formed and moulded him and gave him make and female parts.

Man was created impatient.  P58

Who in six days created the heavens and the earth and then ascended His throne”  p64` 10:1 p= 107

Allah created you from dust, then from a little germ.  Into two sexes He divided you. 35:8

We first created man from an essence of clay; then placed him, a living germ, in a safe enclosure.  The germ we made a clot of blood, and the clot a lump of flesh.   This We fashioned into bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, thus bringing forth another creation.  23:1

We created man from dry clay, from black moulded loa= m, and before him Satan from smokeless fire.  15:21

Those that embrace Islam pursue the right apth; but those that do wrong shall become the fuel of Hell.  265, 72:16

They say: “Allah has begotten a son.”  Allah forbid!  Self-sufficient is He.   P70, 10:68

Admonish those who say that Allah has begotten a son.  Surely of this they could have no knowledge, neither they nor their fathers:  a monstrous blasphemy is that which they utter,  They preach nothing but falsehoods.   P91  :18:1    

Jesus was no more than a mortal whom We favored and made an example to the Israelites.  Had it been Our will We could have replaced you with angels to succeed you on the earth.    p152, 43:54

Never has Allah begotten a son, nor is there any other god besides Him. 23:90

We gave Jesus the son of Mary veritable signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. 2:87

They denied the truth and uttered a monstrous falsehood against Mary.  They declared: “We have put to death the Messiah Jesus the son of Mary, the apostle of Allah.” They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but they thought they did. P382, 4:157

Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was no more than Allah’s apostle and His word which He conveyed to Mary: a spirit from Him.  So believe in Allah and His apostles and do not say ‘Three forbear,’ and it shall be better for you.  Allah is but one God.   4:171

We sent forth Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming the Torah already revealed, and gave him the Gospel, in which there is guidance and light corroborating that which was revealed before it in the Torah, a guide and an admonition to the righteous.” P392, 5:47

The Messiah the son of Mary, was no more than an apostle: other apostles passed away before him.  His mother was a saintly woman.  They both ate earthly food.

Then Allah will say: Jesus, son of Mary did you ever say to mankind: “Worship me and my mother as gods beside Allah?” 5:116

Jesus is like Adam in the sight of Allah.  He created him of dust and then said to him: “Be,” and he was. 3:57

Blessed are the believers…who restrain their carnal desires except with their wives and slave-girls for these are lawful to t hem. 23:1

Attitude toward unbelievers

When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly. P124, 47:3

Believers, do not make friends with those who are enemies of Mine and yours.  60:1

Believers, do not make friends with those who have incurred the wrath of Allah.  Such men despair of the life to come…..60:13

Mohammed is Allah’s apostle.  Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another. …Through them Allah seeks to enrage the unbelievers. 278, 48:29

Allah and His apostle repose not trust in idolaters,save those with whom you have made treaties at the Sacred Mosque. 9:7, p321

But if, after coming to terms with you they break their oaths and revile your faith, make war on the leaders of unbelief- for no oaths are binding with them so that they may desist. 321, 9:12

Believers do not befriend your fathers or your brothers if they choose unbelief in preference to faith. 9:21

Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. 9:73

Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you.  9:122

It is ordained that no nation We have destroyed shall ever rise again.  But when Gog and Magog are let loose and rush headlong down every hill; when the true promise nears its fulfillment; the unbelievers shall stare in amazement…303, 21:97

If any one attacks you, attack him as he attacked you.  2:194

The unbelievers are your sworn enemies.4:101

Believers, take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends. 393, 5:51

Believers, do not make friends with any men other than your own people. They will spare no pains to corrupt you.  They desire nothing but your ruin.3:118

But do not fight them within the precincts of the Ho ly Mosque unless they attack you there; if they attack you put them to the sword.

Fight for Allah

As for those who are slain in the cause of Allah, He will not allow their works to perish.  He will vouchsafe them guidance and ennoble their state; He will admit them to the Pardise He has made known to them.  P124, 47:3

(not like poets)  believers who do good works and remember Allah and defend themselves when wronged.  26:213

The true believers are those that have faith in Allah and His apostle and never doubt; and who fight for His cause with their wealth and persons.  Such are those whose faith is true.  275, 49:13

Say to the desert Arabs who stayed behind: “You shall be called upon to fight a mighty nation unless they embrace Islam.   277, 48:16

If the unbelievers join battle with you they shall be put to flight. 277, 48:22

Your lord bade you leave your home to fight for justice, but some of the faithful were reluctant. …..Allah promised to grant you victory over one of the two bands, but you wished to fight the one what was unarmed. He sought to fulfill His promise and to annihilate the unbelievers, so tht Truth should triumph and falsehood be discomfited though the wrongdoers wished otherwise.  8:7

Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme.8:39

Prophet, rouse the faithful to arms.  If there are twenty steadfast men amo= ng you, they shall vanquish two hundred; and if there are a hundred, they shall rout a thousand unbelievers, for they are devoid of understanding.  8:65, p319

A prophet may not take captives until he has fought and triumphed in his land.  You seek the chance gain of this world, but Allah desires for you the world to come…… Enjoy therefore, the good and lawful things which you have gained in war,= and fear Allah.   319 8:68

Those that have embraced the faith and fled their ho= mes and fought for the cause of Allah, and those that have sheltered them and helped them – they are the true believers.  They shall receive mercy and a generous provision. P320, 8:74

When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them.  Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them and lie in ambush everywhere for them. 9:5,

Make war on them: Allah will chastise them through you and humble them.9:14, 322

Those that have embraced the faith and fled their ho= mes and fought for Allah’s cause with their wealth and their persons are held in higher regard by Allah.  It is they who shall triumph. 322, 9:19

Believe in Allah and fight with His apostle.  9:84

If you do not fight He will punish you sternly and replace you by other men. 9:38

Fight for the sake of Allah those that fight against= you, but do not attack them first.  Al= lah does not love the aggressors.  2:p 190

Fight against them until idolatry is no more and All= ah’s religion reigns supreme.  2:191

Attitude toward other Believing Muslims

If two parties of believers take up arms the one against the other, make peace between them.  If either of them commits aggression against the other, fight against the aggressors till they submit to Allah’s judgment.  274, 49:9

The believers are a band of brothers, Make peace among your brothers and fear Allah 49:10

But for the fear that you might have trampled under foot believing men and women unknown to you and thus incurred unwitting guilt on their account, Allah would have commanded you to fight it out with them; but He ordained it thus that He might bring whom He will into His mercy. 278, 48:25

It is unlawful for a believer to kill another believer except by accident.  He that accidentally kills a believer must free one Muslim slave and pay blood-money to the family of the victim, unless they choose to give it away in alms.  4:92

He that kills a believer by design shall burn in Hell for ever  4:93

Giving your Wealth

Those that believe in Allah and the Last Day will no= t beg you to exempt them from fighting with their wealth and their persons.9:44

Whether unarmed or well-epuipped, march on and fight= for the cause of Allah, with your wealth and your person.  9:41 , p325

Proclaim a woeful punishment to those that hoard up gold and silver and do not spent it in Allah’s cause. 9:33

Fight and be rewarded

Do not say that those who were slain in the cause of Allah are dead; they are alive, although you are not aware of them. 2:155

The believers who stay at home – apart from those that suffer from a grave impediment – are not equal to those who fight for the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons.  Allah has given those that fight with their goods and their persons  a higher rank than those who stay at home..  4: 95 p376

He that flies his homeland for the cause of Allah shall find humerous places of refuge in the land and great abundance.  P377, 4:96

Those that fled their homes or were expelled from them, and those that suffered persecution and fought and died for My cause, shall be forgiven their sins and admitted to gardens watered by running streams, as a reward from Allah; it is He who holds the richest recompense.  3:195

It is an admonition to all mankind.  P47, 12:111

This is no invented tale, but a confirmation of previous scriptures, and explanation of all things, a guide and a blessing to true believers. P47

Recite from the Koran as many verses as you are able.  p60

This Koran could not have been composed by any but Allah.  It confirms what was reve= aled before it and fully explains the Scriptures.

These are the revelations of the Koran the Glorious Book, a guide and joyful news to true believers   p82, 27:1

We hold a book in which all things are written  p121, 50:1

We swear by the Glorious Book that we revealed the Koran on a blessed night.  P147  44:1 

We have revealed the Koran in the Arabic tongue that you may grasp its meaning.  It is a transcript of Our eternal book, sublime, and full of wisdom.”  P149, 43:1

This book is revealed by Allah 40:1

Do not yield to the unbelievers, but fight them strenuously with this Koran. 25:52

When you do not recite to them a revelation they say :  “Have you not yet invented one?  Say: “I follow only wht is revealed to me by my Lord.  This book is a veritable proof from your lord, a guide and a blessing to true believers.  7:199

Commit to memory the revelations of Allah 33:33

None should visit the mosques of Allah except those who believe in Allah…322, 9:18 ,

Promotes Mohammad to be honoured and obeyed with fear.

Those that give no heed to Allah’s summoner shall not escape His judgment on this earth,   p130, 46:31

If you obey Allah and His apostle, He will not deny you the reward of your labours.  275, 49:13

Have faith in Allah and His apostle and that you may assist him, honour him, and praise Him morning and evening.  276,

Seek Allah and His apostle and the hereafter…33:26

Those who obey Allah and His apostle shall win a great victory.  296 33:69

Those who speak ill of Allah and His apostle shall be cursed by Allah in this life and in the life to come.  33:57

Believers, obey Allah and His apostle, and do not forsake him.  You have heard the truth.   8:20

Believer, do not betray Allah and the Apostle, nor knowingly violate your trust.  8:27

Obey Allah and His apostle and do not dispute with one another,….pg 317, 8:46

Those that wrong the apostle of Allah shall be sternly punished. 9:61, p327

Are they not aware that the man who defies Allah and His apostle shall abide for ever in the fire of Hell? 9:63

He that obeys Allah and the Apostle shall dwell with the prophet and saints, the martyrs and righteous men whom Allah has favored .  4:8

Allah has commanded us to believe in no apostle unless he brings down fire to consume an offering.  3:183

…on a day when the Prophet and those who believe with him will suffer no disgrace at the hands of Allah. 66:8

His Mission and person

I believe in all the scriptures that Allah has revealed  p155, 42:15

Allah has in all truth fulfilled His apostle’s vision …….278

We have not sent you to be their keeper.  Your only duty is to warn them.  P158, 42:53

I am no more than a mortal like yourselves. 159; 41:10

We have taught Mohammed no poetry, nor does it become him to be a poet. 36:68

Mohammed is the father of no man among you. He is the apostle of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets.  33:40

Believers, do not raise your voice above the voice of the Prophet, nor shout aloud when speaking to him as you do to one another,…Those who speak softly in the presence of Allah’s apostle are the men whose hearts Allah had inured to piety.  They = shall receive forgiveness and rich reward.”  274, 49:3

Visiting prophet)   Do not engage in familiar talk, for this would annoy the Prophet…If you ask his wives for anything, speak to them from behind a curtain.  You must not speak ill of Allah’s apostle, nor shall you ever wed his wives after him; this would be a grave offence in the sight of Allah.  33:52.

Verses that Sanction the action of Mohammad

No blame shall be attached to the Prophet for doing what is sanctioned for him by Allah 33:37, p293

Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave-girls whom Allah has given you as boot y; the daughters of your paternal and maternal uncles and of your paternal and maternal aunts who fled with you; and the other women who gave themselves to you and whom you wished to take in marriage.  This privilege is yours alone, being granted tod no other believer.   (at this time he had nine wives and many slave-girls.   294, 33:51

We grant you this privilege so that none may blame you.  294,33:50

You may put off any of your wives you please and take to your bed any of them you please.  ….294 33:51

The spoils belong to Allah and the Apostle.  Obey Allah and His apostle, if you are true believers.  8:1, p314

Prophet, why do you prohibit that which Allah has made lawful to you, in seeking to please your wives? 66:1

Mohammad an= d Koran

 ‘…when you hear His revelations being denied or ridiculed you must not sit and listen to them unless they engage in other talk, or else you shall yourselves become like them.” 4:139

Never have you read a book before this, nor have you ever transcribed one with your right hand.  Had you done either of these, the unbelievers might have justly doubted.  29:49

The unbelievers say:  “This man is a skilled enchanter.”  P64

“It is your own invention” say: Compose one chapter like it.  P67  1= 0:39

Do they say:  “He has invented it himself?”

Has it never occurred to them that their compatriot is no madman, but one who gives plain warning. 7:185

Some say:  “It is but a medley of dreams.”  He has invented it himself”   He is a pet:  let him show us some sign, as did the apostles in days gone by.”   21:5 p297

They say: “You are an impostor.’   P311, 16:98

They marvel that a prophet of their own should arise amongst them.  “He is but a cunning enchanter” say the unbelievers. 38:1

Unclean women are for unclean men, and unclean men f or unclean women.  But good women are for good men.  24:26

Enjoin believing women to turn their eyes away from temptation and to preserve their chastity; to cover their adornments; to draw their veils over their bosoms and not to revel their finery except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband’s fathers, their sons, their step sons, their women-servants, and their slave-girl; male attendants lacking in natural vigour, and children who have no carnal knowledge of women. And let them not stamp their feet in walking so as to reveal their hidden trinkets. 24:31

Take in marriage those among you who are single and those of your male and female slaves who are honest.

You shall not force your slave-girls into prostitution in order that you may make money, if they wish to preserve their chastity.   24:33

You shall not kill your children for fear of want.   (in allusion to the pre-Islamic custom of burying alive unwanted new born girls) 17:21

Do not hold on to your marriages with unbelieving women:  demand the dowries you have given them and let the infidels do the same.  P268, 60:10

Prophet, if believing women come to you and pledge themselves to serve no other god besides Allah, to commit neither theft, nor adultery, nor child-murder, to utter no monstrous falsehoods of their own invention, and to disobey you in nothing just or reasonable, accept their allegiance and implore Allah to forgive them.  Allah is forgiving and merciful.  268,60:11

Wives of the Prophet!  Those of you who commit a proven sin shall be doubly punished.  That is no difficult thing for Allah.

Show discretion in what you say.  Stay in your homes and do not display your finery as women used to do in the days of ignorance.  Attend to prayers , give alms to the poor, and obey Allah and His apostle.  293,33:33

Believers, if you marry believing women and divorce them before the marriage is consummated, you are not reguired to observe a waiting period. 33:49

Unlawful for you to take more wives or to change your present wives for other women, though their beauty please you, except where slave-gils are concerned. 33:52

You shall not wed pagan women, unless they embrace t= he faith.  A believing slave-girl is better than an idolatress, although she may please you.  2:221
